Lifesaving Resources, Inc. is a private corporation providing training and consulting services in the field of Aquatics Safety, Water Rescue, Ice Rescue, and EMS for the Lifeguard and Aquatic Recreation and Safety Sector, as well as for the Public Safety and Rescue Sector. The company also evaluates, designs, develops, manufactures, and/or distributes quality rescue and training equipment for use in Aquatics Safety, Water Rescue, Ice Rescue, EMS, and Technical Rescue.
Donna J. Dworkin serves as the company President, directing the administrative, marketing, and educational programs for the company. Donna has an extensive background in publishing and business administration working throughout the U.S. for USA TODAY and Gannett Publishing. With a commitment to quality and service, under Donna's direction, Lifesaving Resources, Inc. strives to provide excellence in the conduct of our services and training programs, as well as in the sale and distribution of our rescue and training products.
Gerald M. Dworkin serves as the Technical Consultant for Aquatics Safety and Water Rescue and is responsible for educational program development, conduct of training programs, and technical consulting. Gerry is a professional Aquatics Safety and Water Rescue Consultant, and is the author of "The Lifeguard Competition Guidebook", published by Lifesaving Resources, Inc.; "CPR for Infants and Children", published by the Child Welfare League of America; "The Water Rescue Technician Course Guidebook", "The Ice Rescue Technician Course Guidebook", "The Lifeguard (In-Service) Training Program Guidebook", and the "Professional Aquatics Safety Seminar (PASS) Guidebook", all published by Lifesaving Resources, Inc. Gerry has an extensive background in Public Safety and Rescue field operations and public education, especially in Aquatics Safety, Water Rescue, Ice Rescue, and EMS. He has written and published numerous articles and has consulted on numerous drowning and aquatic injury litigation cases. Gerry is a graduate from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut, has experience as a professional and volunteer Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), and has worked for and consulted for the American Red Cross as a Health and Safety Services Professional, and for the National Spa and Pool Institute (NSPI). As a frequent guest speaker and trainer in the Aquatic Recreation and Fire and Rescue fields, Gerry Dworkin is considered an expert and qualified educator throughout the United States.
