This comprehensive one-day classroom (only) seminar focuses on the prevention, recognition and emergency management of Hypothermia, Cold Weather and Cold Water Emergencies. The seminar is specifically designed for Public Safety and Rescue Personnel (i.e. Fire, Rescue, EMS, Law Enforcement, Search and Rescue, etc.), as well as Medical Personnel (i.e. Physicians, Nurses, etc.). This seminar is presented using computer-generated slides and dramatic videotape footage and is presented by Dr. Murray Hamlet, retired from the U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine - Natick Laboratories (MA). and Gerry Dworkin, Professional Aquatics Safety and Water Rescue Consultant for Lifesaving Resources.
